In case your stick is wrongly recognized as Axis5 or Axis6, you can re-map them for Stick1 or Stick2. Try pressing the button or sticks to see if they are recognized as some axis or POV which were formerly hidden. TIPs JoyToKey has a function called Button Alias (or Button Mapping). Then, if you go back to the main screen, you’ll see many axis and POV entries. Go to “Options” tab, and in the “Show/Hide Buttons” section, select “Show all axes (8 way + POV x 4)”. If the stick is recognized by Windows but not by JoyToKey, you can try one of the followings to make them available in JoyToKey. For keyboard emulation, it can be a single keyboard input (e.g. If a button or a stick is not recognized by Windows, unfortunately JoyToKey will not be able to process them. For each joystick button, you can assign a keyboard input or a mouse input. In game controller property window, you will be able to verify how buttons/sticks are recognized by Windows. In this menu, you’ll see a list of all the available controller inputs. Select the game you want to customize the buttons for and click on the ‘Controls’ tab. Here, you’ll find a list of all the games you have installed. Therefore, please check the joystick property from Windows control panel (or JoyToKey menu: “Settings” -> “Configuration joysticks” -> “Configure Game Controller Property”). First, open up Teknoparrot and navigate to the ‘Game Settings’ tab. Effects of a joystick degrading may be subtle such as just feeling 'off' or blatant in severe cases such as no longer being able to half-flip consistently as was the. The Options tab in JoyToKey will indicate how many joysticks are detected. Joysticks input accuracy tends to degrade over time. In other words, if buttons/sticks are not recognized by Windows, JoyToKey will not be able to recognize them. Visualize and self-check accuracy of joystick inputs, externally configured deadzone shape and sensitivity, etc. But I guess we'll find out soon enough.JoyToKey should be able to support any buttons or sticks as long as they are recognized by Windows. Anyone having experience with that joystick? I hope that X Rebirth will have proper support not only for joypads, but also for joysticks. Since there seem to be ppl using this joystick, I'm wondering if there is anything that can be done about this? Otherwise I'll probably stick to my 360 controller and keep the joystick for other games, although that would be a bit disappointing since I bought it specifically for that game. Its either because your in game sensitivity isnt low enough which will cause pixel skipping, or that you just arent moving the mouse smoothly in the first place. My 360 controller does much better at that. Go to the Compatibility mode tab and run the application in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3. is it because with a controller it’s linear movement where with a mouse it’s dependent on how fast or slow you move your arm / hand. At the beginning the ship doesn't turn at all, and passing a certain point, it immediately starts to turn full speed, no way of having a progressive movement from slow to fast. I played around with the axis sensitivity and other setting, but that didn't change much. It's almost impossible the steer the ship precisely to a point, and I don't think it's just a matter of getting used to it. Now, I mapped the x and y axis of the Extreme Pro stick to the directional keys, but the control gets way too sensitive. I got the joystick thinking that I'd give a better immersion when flying my ships, and I read that some ppl seem to be using this or other joysticks. Sensitivity is best changed in the VALORANT client itself and is easily adjustable in-game and in settings. I've been playing with my 360 controller for some time now, that I configured using JoyToKey, and although it's not perfect, I like it better than the mouse for flying ships, and I got pretty comfortable with it. Hi all! I recently got a Logitech Extreme Pro Joystick.
